EPOCH (/ˈepik/) is the brainchild of Deborah Morrison, Carolyn Chambers Distinguished Professor of Advertising & Advertising Area Director at the University of Oregon's School of Journalism and Communication.
Morrison is one of the founding professors of Science & Memory, a collaborative project between journalism and advertising programs at the UO SOJC. Science & Memory produces stories and thinking from Eugene, OR to Cordova, AK and around the Pacific Northwest about data and human experience in relation to environmental issues. To learn more about the program, you can visit Science & Memory or check out the field journal.
At Oregon, she leads the Advertising program where she and faculty believe in hybrid talent for a new age of idea-making. Oregon adgrads find career starts at the world's best agency and brands as strategists, creatives, managers, and producers. Before coming to Oregon, Morrison developed the Texas Creative program at the University of Texas at Austin, a major talent pipeline for the industry.
